Trying to layout your lettering in a circle or arc for that sign order? Here's a FREE program from DesKAM that does just that. It's called DeskEngrave and you can create your lettering layout with most TTF fonts in your Windows™ library and save as either a G-Code (.DNC) or as a .DXF vector format. TTF to DXF will take text in any true type font and convert it to a .DXF file. A paragraph of text can be saved as a .DXF file. Gcode2000 or AutoCad or most other cad systems can then manipulate the file. Useful for engraving, routing and sign making. You take a pattern from your scanner or a picture file. You may color your pattern's pieces. And you print it to any size you want. Patterns larger than a page are automatically tiled across multiple pages. You can change your pattern's proportions too, or print the lines colored red. When extremely enlarging a pattern, the Rapid Resizer can thin all lines so they print 1/16" wide. Thinning can save you a lot of ink. The Rapid Resizer can also automatically number your design's pieces based on how you colored it. You can also use pictures of patterns taken with a digital camera, though it takes a little more effort to get them into the Rapid Resizer. DeskNCrt, a FREE program from DesKAM that is a G-Code interpreter that will translate standard G-Coded files and output step/direction signals directly to a Step/Direction Stepper Motor Driver. Vextractor is a tool for transforming raster images into vector formats by building centerlines and outlines. This vectorizer tool could be used for vectorizing of charts, maps, schemes and other similar images for input to CAD & GIS systems. An application has an option to setup a reference for images, in other words to assign a real coordinates to certain raster points. Thus, you can get vector data not only in the raster coordinates, but real geographical coordinates or in the chart coordinates. Professional raster to vector conversion program (vectorizer). The purpose of RasterVect is to quickly convert uneditable scanned paper drawings into accurate vector files for editing (as a CAD drawing) in any CAD program.
